Happy Birthday Mahal!!!

WOW! Can you believe that Mahal turned 2?? I can't! She is growing up and getting so big! She had such an awesome Birthday party! We rented out the Clark's water slides and had dinner and cake and ice cream. We had gone on the slides last year for our ward party and she really liked it so that's why we decided to do it this year for her party. She did NOT like the slides this year!!! I took her down and she held on to me so tight I thought I was going to choke to death. She ended up just hanging out with her friend Mason and they just sat there and ate Cheetos. We also got her a pinata and she loved trying to break it open. Eventually, one of the little boys that came smashed it open and candy went every where. She picked out a Little Mermaid cake this year and it was so cute! Of course all she wanted to do was eat the frosting... she must be Adrian's daughter;)! We had a lot of people that came and over all it was just a lot of fun! We love Mahal SO, SO much and are so grateful for her in our lives! She makes us so happy and we are proud to be her parents. Happy Birthday Mimi Bug we love you!

New York and Easter fun!

In March, Adrian and I had a fun opportunity to go to New York and visit his brother at West Point. It was quite the place! We went with Cindy and it was a blast! We were able to go into all of the buildings on campus, which is very rare for outsiders to do. We saw where he slept, ate, and went to school. It was a really fast paced trip and we did a lot of walking but it was fun. I think my favorite part of the whole thing was the Ball (JK:)). I had to ware my old prom dress! Good thing it still fit..... After dinner, I remember turning to Cindy and saying that my dress was going to bust open because I was so full. The flight home was the worst! All I said on the way to the airport was that I didn't want to sit next to an Indian from India... and guess what, I did. He was really nice, hard to understand, and smelt really bad but, he was better to talk to then the white lady that was on the other side of me. I was supposed to beat everyone home because I was on a different flight but, with my luck, our pilot got sick and we were diverted to a different airport where we sat for 2 extra hours before getting back on the plane to fly 3 more hours to SLC. I dislike Delta Airlines! Overall, It was a really fun trip! Hard to leave Mahal but good to go see Tory!

This year for Easter we went to Old Main to roll eggs. There were crazy amounts of people there and birds eating all of the broken eggs. It was really fun! Adrian, Flint, and Luke got into egg fights... gross!

Portland and Vday

Mahal, Honey, and I were lucky to have the chance to go and visit Cory, Rachel, Emory, and Tessa in Oregon last weekend! It was really fun! The first day that we got there, we went to a fun museum for the kids. It's called OMSI. Mahal had so much fun playing with her cousins there. They had different areas where you learned about water, sand, air, the market, and a place where you learned about animals. You could spend hours there!!!! We also were able to go to VOODOO DOUGHNUTS!!!! SO good! We even brought some home to share. We went shopping, hung out with everyone, and just had a really good time!! On the way home our flight got canceled and it made for a long night! We were supposed to leave at 5:30pm and our flight got changed to 6:50pm. Mahal loved to play on the walking, floor escalators. Good thing they kept her occupied because we had been there for 4 hours waiting to get on a plane. We did finally make it home.... thank the heavens! Thanks to Cory, Rach, and the girls for all they did for us while we were there!
This week was also Valentines Day. Adrian is so amazing! I'm a lucky women to have him in my life! He bought me some beautiful roses!!!! SO BEAUTIFUL! He also got me the Breaking Dawn movie:) Mahal got some really fun things too. She got a new barbie that she can play with in the tub, a really loud, singing, dancing elephant from Gma Z, a new movie that teaches her about letters from Nanai, some more necklaces from Gma Z, and some treats! She is lucky!!

Please and Thank you

Mahal is so stinking cute! We love her so so so so much and she has started to be so polite. She now says thank you and please for everything. She also has started saying sorry. I don't think that she realizes when the right time to say it is, but she is so cute when she says it. Yesterday morning, i had to wake her up to go in and teach aerobics. I tried to wake her up and all she wanted to do was sleep. I wrapped her blanket around her and picked her up, went outside and put her in her car seat trying not to wake her up. Thinking that she was sleeping, with her eyes closed she said, Mom i go, I go mom. I tried not to laugh but then she said, bye dad, bye dad and was then wide awake! Wow I love her! It's hard to think I could love any other child as much as I love her! Adrian thinks the same! She is the light in our lives!
She is really into movies now. I try to limit the amount of T.V. and movies we watch because I don't want her to be a lazy couch potato, but she sure does love her movies. Her favorite movie right now is Finding Nemo. She says Nomo; i watch Nomo. She could watch it over and over and over again! I can't wait for summer! We will be outside everyday!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We had a great Christmas this year! Mahal had more fun with the wrapping paper than her gifts, but it was fun to watch her. This year we got a new bed! Hallelujah!!!! Much needed since the bed that Adrian and I have been sleeping on is 15 years old. We sleep so much better now! We loved spending time with family and friends during the holidays! Mahal had so much fun with cousins!

For the new year, we did nothing! It was great! I think that the older you get and the more kids you have the lamer (if that's a word) and over rated new year celebration is. Sleep is so much better for us and especially since Adrian always has to work the next day. I think that the new year is a good time to set goals! I hope that the goals that I have set for the new year I can accomplish.

Tickle, tickle, tickle

Mahal is so funny! Where she gets her spunk and attitude, I have no idea. About a week ago, she was laying in our bed asleep and Adrian and I climbed in with her and all of a sudden she rolled over to me with her eyes closed and said tickle, tickle, tickle, (pause) tickle, tickle, tickle. It was so funny! Adrian was trying not to laugh, but it was really hard not too. She is so cute! Her new words the past couple of weeks are tickle, please, cheese, and drink. She loves to say Chase, Dad, Mom, and Grandpa. She will stand at the bottom of the stairs every morning and yell for Grandpa. Most of the time he is out on the farm, but if he is inside he will always yell back at her. Whenever she gets in trouble now she will come over, pucker up her lips and give you a big fat smooch. Adrian always says to her that just because she comes over and gives kisses it's not going to get her out of trouble, but she always gets out of it. Right now her favorite movie is Madagascar and she loves to dance and shake her butt to I like to move it, move it.
We had a great Thanksgiving! Just spent time with some family and went to the turkey burner at the rec. Adrian came too and it was a blast. He was sore for a few days, but i'm really glad he came!

The Big 29!!!

Happy Birthday Dad(on the 6th)!!! Can you believe it, Adrian is 29! It's going to be so crazy when he turns 30. We are going to have to have a major party for that with dancing girls and everything;)(JK). We hope he had a great day! We love you Dad!!!
